Le Buron de Born

A real buron, situated at an altitude of over 1,200 m near Lake Born, you can enjoy the specialities prepared by the Buron team: charcuterie, aligot, retortillat and Aubrac meat. Open from May 1 to November 3, 2024, the Buron de Born is one of the most typical stops in the Aubrac region.

Between the accordion music, the terrace overlooking the lake, the charm of granite, wood and the feeling of being in the middle of a paradise… the buron won’t leave you indifferent. The St. John’s bonfire, July 14th and August 15th festivals will set the pace for your summer. Come once, come again the following year… Don’t forget to book!

Itinerary

At Nasbinals, follow signs for Marvejols. After 2 km at the village of Montgrousset, turn right towards Saint Germain du Teil. After the Pont des Nègres, take the first road on the left. Another 2 km and you’ll have reached the magnificent Buron de Born on the Aubrac.
